Kristopher Immel helps people during some of the most difficult times in their lives. Whether a person is facing criminal charges or is seeking a divorce, a business owner facing a lawsuit, or a government entity. He understands the importance of using compassion with his clients while working tirelessly on their behalf.


In addition to his private practice, Kristopher is also the Solicitor for the Village of Marshallville, the Solicitor for the Village of Creston, and the Prosecutor and Assistant Solicitor for the Village of Seville, and Assistant Solicitor for the Village of Lodi.


Outside of work at RLB, Kristopher is a member of the Akron Bar Association, serving on the Board of Directors, the Medina Bar Association, and is a Fellow with the Akron Bar Association Foundation. Kristopher has also served as a member of the University of Akron Law Alumni Association Board. Kristopher has been recognized by Super Lawyers as an Ohio Rising Star in 2020, 2021, and 2022. Kristopher spends his free time playing baseball with his two young sons and cooking with his wife. During the spring and summer, Kristopher enjoys golfing, attending Guardians games, and visiting Cedar Point with his family.


Prior to joining RLB, Kristopher was the Managing Associate of his firm's Cleveland office. He represented a range of clients including businesses, individuals, non-profit organizations in a wide array of matters, from tax appeals, criminal defense, child custody and dissolution, to collections and bankruptcy for creditors and debtors.


Kristopher is a graduate of the University of Akron School of Law and College of Business; he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Management and Political Science from Hiram College.


Kristopher is licensed to practice in the State of Ohio, the Northern District of Ohio, the 6th Circuit Court of Appeals, the U.S. Tax Court, and the U.S. Supreme Court.
